Korsen will provide strategic direction as Alternative grows its product suite and partner portfolio
May 7, 2014 – Aliso Viejo, CA: Alternative Technology Solutions, a leading ERP and CRM service and solution provider for manufacturers and distributors and an Inc. 500 fastest-growing company, today announced that it has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Aaron Korsen as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
“Adding Aaron to the Alternative team is a key part of our growth strategy for 2014 and beyond,” said Vivian Keena, Alternative CEO. “With Aaron’s extensive technology, manufacturing, and team-building experience, Alternative is poised to take our customers to the next level with applications that are lighter, smarter, and accessible from anywhere.”
“Joining Alternative at this point in its growth is exciting,” said Korsen. “As the technology space continues to grow and evolve, Alternative is on the edge of what it means to use technology in a way that breaks down barriers between people and processes, allowing companies to be more agile, responsive, and competitive.”
Prior to Alternative, Korsen spent much of his career as a senior executive with Epicor. “The best part of my career has been building teams that are collaborative, strategic, and passionate about helping our customers accelerate their businesses through technology,” said Korsen. “I’m looking forward to working in a fast-paced startup culture where there are many opportunities to grow with the market.”
Key to Korsen’s role is helping Alternative transition from a consulting services focus to a full provider of both products and services for manufacturers and distributors. “I’m excited to tackle the next step in Alternative’s growth as it transitions from its consulting roots to building a diverse product suite that is complemented by new partnerships with leading technology providers,” Korsen explained.
“We’ve built a loyal customer base over the years by providing the expertise, integration, and strategy our customers need to be successful,” said Keena. “As we look ahead to how we continue to take manufacturers to the cloud, Aaron is the dynamic leader we need to get us there.”
